Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AlphaScreenAI (the "Platform"), you irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Platform.

2. User Eligibility

The Platform is intended for use by professional and sophisticated investors. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and possess the necessary financial literacy to understand the risks associated with quantitative stock screening and backtesting.

3. License & Access

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AlphaScreenAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal or internal business research.

• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your sole responsibility.
• Single Access: Licenses are granted on a per-user basis. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Automated scraping or extraction of our underlying Parquet financial datasets or DuckDB query results.
• Reverse-engineering the Platform's screening algorithms or proprietary data aggregation methods.
• Using the Platform for any illegal activity or to facilitate market manipulation.
• Interfering with the stable operation of our VPS infrastructure or API endpoints.

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all code, UI designs, quantitative models, and data structures, is the exclusive property of AlphaScreenAI. You retain ownership of the custom screening rules (strategies) you build within the Platform, but you grant us a license to store and process these strategies to provide the service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaScreenAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or that the financial data provided is 100% accurate or timely.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AlphaScreenAI, its directors, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages (including financial loss, loss of profits, or data) arising out of your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past six months.
